 You may have heard that Ron Paul raised 6.1 million on the 16th of December in honor of the 234th anniversary of the Boston Tea party. Or that Ron Paul is on pace to raise more money in the fourth quarter than any other Republican or Democratic candidate. The money that Ron Paul is raising is merely the tip of the iceberg, the real story is found with the grassroots. The Ron Paul grassroots is the largest Multi-level marketing group in the world, for every dollar being spent by the main campaign, there are two dollars being spent by the grassroots on such ridiculously creative projects as the “Ron Paul Blimp“.

   Think about it, Ron Paul has a blimp which costs $350,000 a month completely raised by a Ron Paul supporter, who never voted in his life. Trevor Lyman also ran the $6.1 million donation day on December 16th as well as the $4.3 million raised on November 5th on the Guy Fawkes “Gunpowder plot” anniversary. Ron Paul supporters in Santa Monica, California started a 70,000 person hand-written letter campaign that is now being imitated by the Obama people. There is a RonPaulBillboard.com, there are over 1,100 Ron Paul meetup.com groups natonwide with 85,000 supporters. Lawrence Lepard another lone wolf Ron Paul supporter has purchased a full page Ad in USA Today over Thanksgiving, a full page Ad in the Boston Globe as well as a full-page ad in the NY Times in the week before New Year’s. Jack Cafferty from CNN says everytime we mention Ron Paul on the air, our email box is filled and our ratings go through the roof.

   No one trully knows the effect of the Ron Paul grassroots  on election day, not the mainstream media not the Ron Paul Headquarters nor do the grassroot supporters themselves. But ponder this only 6-8% of voters even show up on primary day. Do you think these ardent Ron Paul troopers are going to forget on primary day or perhaps be deterred by bad weather? They will probably hold parties in Iowa and New Hampshire as there supporters swarm from state to state. The Ron Paul people are like a big westward caravan settling the new territory for the first time, they are the salt of the earth of what is pure Americana. No one has ever seen this kind of interest in American politics not with Jack Kennedy, not with Bobby, not ever.

The scary part is that the Ron Paul movement seems to be just picking up steam. There are plans for a second blimp to be flown on the westcoast over the Super Bowl. The main deterrent for supporting Ron Paul is that he is a fringe candidate, are being shredded by the supporters themselves who are the new American Intelligensia. You know the ones that can hack into the DOD, design cars that get over 300 mpg or hit a coke can from a mile and a half away. The real genius of the Ron Paul is the genius of their supporters and they just seem to be warming, imagine what a little success such as a victory in Iowa will do, just imagine. The Norman Rockwell character known as Ron Paul and his band of merry supporters are re-creating the American landscape in the twinkling of an eye, one day we may be able to leave the front door unlatched again or perhaps grow weed like George Washington did on the front lawn of the White House.
