Islamist fanatics are murdering people all over the world, not just Americans. Their montra: believe our way or don't live. If we don't have a President that is interested in the security of our country and our interests abroad, we have already lost. A great deal of blather. Whatever one believes about the primary source of Islamic terrorism, how radical a muslim is before he is a terrorist, or who is allied with whom, etc... it is an historical fact that Islam is a political religion seeking to command and conquer. As recently as the 20th century, in 1979, Persia was overthrown and turned into an Islamic republic by a 98.2% majority of "eligible voters" (http://www.iranonline.com/iran/iran-info/Government/constitution-1.html). Whoever "they" are (because many Muslims are peace-loving people, they who follow the Qur'an to its fullest extent, and you can read the Qur'an to verify this, wish to gain control of nations and force the citizens to either a. adhere to Islam or b. pay a Dhimmi (non-believer) tax. Islamists have consistently persecuted their own citizens and attacked or threatened other countries, so the question is, do we allow it to continue, as many openly admit that they have their sights on the U.S. or if we stop it, how do we stop it? As much as I hate war, I am even more disgusted by people with plenty of opinions and no solutions.
